Fall Leadership Conference

Start the SkillsUSA year off strong by attending the Fall Leadership Conference!  

The conference will begin with an opening session which will set the direction for the conference, followed by workshops, lunch, and leadership development activities.  It is our goal that by participating in these activities each participant will leave the conference with the skills needed to have a successful year and actively participate in SkillsUSA’s programs.

  • Mandatory Contribution: Each attendee is required to bring at least one non-perishable food item as part of an engaging activity designed to foster community service and teamwork.

  • Location: Lansing Center, 333 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48933. For more details about the venue, please visit their website here.

    Parking: Parking is available behind the Lansing Center via Cedar Street or at the North Grand Parking Ramp. Parking fees apply. For additional parking details, visit Lansing Center Parking Info.

  • Platform: Registrations are processed through the online conference registration system available at SkillsUSA Registration.

    Includes: The registration fee covers lunch, participation in all sessions, and registration materials.

    Requirement: All students must be officially registered members of SkillsUSA Michigan before conference registration.

    Policy: No refunds will be provided after registration closes. However, you can modify your registrations or add more registrants until the registration deadline.

  • Mandatory Form: Every attendee must sign the Participant Code of Conduct Form. Advisors are to carry these forms to the conference. The form can be found on the Resources page.

    Dress Code: Business casual attire is required to engage in leadership activities. Acceptable attire includes Khaki (Docker) style pants (excluding cargo pants) and appropriate tops. Denim, t-shirts, hats, and cargo pants are prohibited.

    Student / Advisor Ratio: There must be one advisor for every twenty students attending the conference to ensure proper supervision and participation.
